When I first read part of this story that was included in the Team Player 2 anthology I was instantly drawn into this world and felt all the emotions that came with it and just knew the full length novel was going to be amazing and I was defitnely not disappointed I loved Ava's character so much, she is a strong, resilent and determined character who does not let the way people treat her or the events that happened in her life control her, put her down or make her feel inferior. She truly is an admirable character, who loves fiercely and is incredibly unselfish Knox is cold and distant to begin with but the more we see him the more we realise how is a kind and loving character who cares deeply about the people he keeps close to him in his life and will do anything for the people he loves. Cold eyes flick over my cheer skirt then move up and land on the hollow of my throat. It’s not cool enough at night for our sweater uniform so tonight my top is the red and white V-cut vest with CP embroidered on my chest. “Where’s Chance?” He whips off his sweat-covered jersey along with the pads underneath. “I don’t keep tabs on my best friend for you.
