Release Blitz and Book Review: Dead Man Walking by Giana Darling

3 Stars 🌟 Dead Man Walking  is book 6 in the Fallen Men series. It follows  Bea and Priest  who we have met previously in the series. These books are stated as being able to read as standalones but I personally feel to get the full picture and a better understanding of this world these books should be read in order. Prior to this book I had read and genuinely enjoyed all of the books in the series and very much anticipated this book/couple but I will say that I am left underwhelmed by this story and even though I managed to like it well enough to finish, I also expected a lot more from this story. This book came with an authors note in the form of a trigger warning and I will say it did deliver on that. This book was much darker, grittier and intense compared to the previous books but still maintained the same elements created in the authors MC world with heightened crime, suspense & action. This story took me longer to get into and the pacing felt off to me as did the writing.

Release Blitz and Book Review : Love Thy Neighbor by Teagan Hunter

3.5 Stars 🌟 Love Thy Neighbor  is book 2 in the Roommate Romps series but can be read as a standalone. This is a low angst, low drama friends to lovers romance following two best friends & roommate's  Cooper & Caroline. This story was a fun, sweet and super quick read. It had the usual Teagan Hunter humor sprinkled throughout & I loved the dynamic of these two together. Cooper was super supportive, goofy, cute and a little dirty but the good kind. Caroline was a little more reserved, a true homeboy & struggled with wanting to chase her dreams and passions but being hesitant after being told repeatedly (by family) they were a waste of time. Watching these two navigate friendship into a more flirty, physical and romantic relationship was a joy and as usual the side characters added that extra charm. The conflict/resolution wasn't my favourite but it still fit the flow of the story well and I enjoyed way it ended and can't wait for the next installment/coupl

Release Blitz and Book Review : Sound of Madness by Maria Luis

4 Stars 🌟 Sound of Madness is book 2 in the Broken Crown Trilogy and even though these books all follow different couples they still need to be read in order to take in the full picture and boy what a picture Maria creates. Sound of Madness picks up right where the cliffhanger/teaser ended in Road to Fire and follows  Damien Priest & Rowena  and like book one it was straight up fire. This part of the story added in so much more background and atmosphere to what was/has already been happening and it was just as intense, intriguing, captivating and adventurous as book one with a slight suspense/what the f*** is happening vibe. This entire (alternative) universe and plot surrounding the monarchy and government has me so beyond hooked, so many twists and turns on this beautifully crafted journey. This book did however take me a little longer to focus on in the beginning (I probably should've reread RTF as a refresher) but once I got immersed into this world again I did not want

Release Blitz and Book Review : The Revenge Pact by Ilsa Madden Mills

3 Stars 🌟 The Revenge Pact  is the first book in a set of 3 stories by 3 different authors. They take place in the same setting but can be read as standalones. This story follows college students  River & Anastasia  and is a new adult (light) sports romance with a slight enemies/indifference to lovers feel with a forbidden aspect to it. The connection, banter and all around feels between these two was an aspect of the story that I really enjoyed. Their story was messy, fun, sexy, a little intriguing with a touch of angst thrown in filled with a slew of amazing side characters. I really enjoy Ilsa's writing and for some reason it just always works for me even if some of the storylines are not my favourite I know I can still enjoy the book. I flew through this book and for the most part enjoyed it but I tend to not be a fan of stories where one of the main characters is in a relationship with someone else. I don't mind if it's a small and insignificant aspect of the bo
