Release Blitz and Book Review : Make Me Yours by Melanie Harlow

Make Me Yours, an all-new laugh out loud rom com from USA Today bestselling author Melanie Harlow is available now! He’s my brother’s best friend. The hot single dad next door. And one accidental sext later, my massive crush on him is no longer a secret. It’s my own damn fault. I’m thirty years old, for heaven’s sake. I’m a kindergarten teacher and a (reasonably) responsible adult. I should know better than to get tipsy and draft a fake text listing all the dirty things I wish Officer Cole Mitchell would do to me. I wasn’t supposed to hit send. He wasn’t supposed to see it. And he definitely wasn’t supposed to text back telling me to go on . . . Because after that, things escalate quickly. Cole is everything I’ve ever wanted. He’s sexy and protective. A devoted father to his little girl. A dedicated cop the whole town adores. The kind of guy you can trust to keep his hands to himself, even when you’re desperately hoping he won’t. I’m n

Release Blitz and Book Review : Hard Love by Sara Ney

2.5 Stars 🌟 Hard Love  is book 3 in the Trophy Boyfriend's series but can be read as a standalone. This follows  Chandler and Tripp  and prior to reading this I was very much looking forward to this book because I have enjoyed the 2 previous books but sadly this one fell flat for me and the main reason was the hero Tripp. I think I set my hopes a little too high for this one as I absolutely loved his brother, Trace's book and thought that might be the case for this one but Tripp was extremely lack luster, slightly rude for no real good reason and honestly I didn't feel his connection or love for Chandler. Their first romantic interaction felt weird and odly staged and not at all natural. The saving grace for me was the snipets and scenes involving the Wallace family and my fav Trace 💕💕 The story was still enjoyable enough for me to finish but it was also nothing new and so far my least favourite in this series. I am still curious how the next book will go because the l

Release Blitz and Book Review : Ruin by LA Cotton

3.5 Stars 🌟 Ruin  is part of an interconnected series and even though it can be read as a standalone I highly suggest reading the previous books as it helps build up Levi's character with this being his book. I was instantly drawn to Levi the minute he was introduced. The damaged rockstar with childhood issues, a history of substance abuse and self destructive behaviour am I alone in being drawn to this type of character because from the very beginning I was like sign me up - my boy Levi is mine, and even though I still love him I was also slightly underwhelmed by his book. The dynamic between  Levi and Pheobe  wasn't my favourite and slightly uncomfortable at times which is understandable with this kind of story. Levi relied on Pheobe too much as a crutch and she let him. I wanted more push back/tough love from her. She was a pretty strong and resilient character on her own but powerless against Levi. Any relationship involving an addict is gritty and emotionally draining so
