Release Blitz and Book Review : Drive Me Wild by Melanie Harlow

4 Stars 🌟 Drive Me Wild  is the first book in a new series of standalone small town romances. It follows  Griffin & Blair  in this light hearted, steamy, sweet, low angst with an all round fun rom com vibe. Griffin  is grumpy, slightly closed off emotionally and convinced he will always be better off alone. He has things he is still dealing with from his past as well as trying to figure out a way to keep his business running and succeeding he definitely does not have anytime for love or relationships. Blair  is sweet, adorbale with a hint of sass. She is flirty and playful while also having goals on how she wants to set up her new life and prove her independence. The whole Grump/Sunshine dynamic is one of my favourites in romances and I really enjoyed how it played out in this story though Griffin definitely could've been grumpier (the more grumpier the better imo) but Blair was the perfect Sunshine to his Grump. Their chemistry and connection was compelling and even though

Excerpt Reveal : Sicko by Amo Jones

SICKO by Amo Jones   Release Date: September 1st      Add to Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/50489991-sicko      PREORDER TODAY!!  Amazon: https://amzn.to/3epdGz2   Apple Books: https://apple.co/2PxLxvs   Kobo: https://bit.ly/3eiohvN   Nook: https://bit.ly/2ZEmMnu           Blurb:   He was my foster brother. He swore to protect me. He failed. They all failed. I’m an open box of passé photographs, snapped in chaste daylight, but filtered in sepia. I’m the past that he tried to forget, and he was the future I needed. When he left six years ago, I screamed for him every night. But then it all stopped. My screams were suddenly muffled by cruelty, and further coaxed by pain. But he has come back. He’s not the cute big brother I had a furtive crush on, or the bad boy, rich brat that I hated to love. He’s the ruthless vice president of Wolf Pack MC, and he doesn’t answer to Royce Kane anymore. He answers to Sicko.      Excerpt:   I weep loudly from the pain.

Release Blitz and Book Review : Hard Fall by Sara Ney

4.5 Stars 🌟  Hard Fall  is the 2nd book in the Trophy Boyfriends Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a laugh out loud romantic comedy between a professional baseball player and the daughter of his Boss with a fake dating element to it. When it comes to rom coms and any sort of sports romance I have a very specific type of hero I'm always drawn to and  Trace 'Buzz' Wallace  checks all the boxes. He is loud, obnoxiously funny, a little dorky, he has no boundaries but is a total sweetheart, super supportive and total hopeless romantic. He is basically part labrador part man child with a heart of gold and I. Am. Here. For. It. I don't know what it is about this type of hero but I can't help but love them. I pretty much spent the entire book smiling and laughing at every single thing he said or thought. I must've highlighted the entire book with all things Buzz Wallace. And we can't forget our main girl  Hollis Westbrooke  as I also loved her a lot

Release Blitz and Book Review : Not My Romeo by Ilsa Madden Mills

4.25 Stars 🌟 Not My Romeo  starts of as a case of mistaken identity that eventually leads into an unexpected but fun and flirty romance involving a hot shot professional football player and a sweet, sassy and subtly sexy librarian. Jack  is an extremely private and reserved quarterback who is often misunderstood and trying to clean up this 'bad boy' image that seems to follow him around. He is very cautious when he meets knew people and finds it hard to trust having been betrayed in the past. I loved how kind, caring and patient he was as well as being incredibly sexy while he secretly geeked out over k drama and pop music in the cutest way. He did have moments where he frustrated me but given how badly he had been betrayed I understood where a lot of his actions and reservations came from. Elena  has also been betrayed by people she thought she could trust and is trying to move on but thats not always easy when that betrayal is constanlty being thrown into your present. She i

Release Blitz and Book Review : Love Unexpected by QB Tyler

3.5 Stars 🌟 Love Unexpected  is a  Taboo/Forbidden Age Gap Romance   between a step father and step daughter. This is definitely a story that I would suggest taking caution if this trope isn't something for you or I would suggest going in with an open mind, if like me, you have never read this type of story but are intrigued. This was my first book by QB Tyler and I have heard from many friends that her stories are unconventional but great reads so when I first read the blurb for Love Unexpected my interests were peaked. I went in with an open mind knowing the nature of this relationship might not be for everyone and honestly I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this book. The writing style was something I connected with and the flow of the story felt smooth and easy to read. I liked how the relationship between  Stassia and Dominic  never felt justified or glorified. Both characters, Dominic more than Stassia, struggled at times with starting a relationship then s

Book Review : King of Souls by L.A. Cotton

4 Stars 🌟 King of Souls  is the second book in the Verona Legacy series and the conclusion to  Nicco & Arianne's  Duet. It  can not   be read as a standalone as it is a continuation of Prince of Hearts.   This story like part one is influenced by Romeo and Juliet. Content warning necessary for mentions of sexual assault, attempted sexual assault and violence KoS picks up right were PoH left off and we are thrown back into this world. This part of the duet had more angst, suspense, drama, heartbreak, intruige and grittiness to it and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nicco  is angry and devasted with everything that has been going on around him. He is holding it together the best he can but he is also having a hard time dealing with not being able to fix things while also wanting to reassure Ari that things will get better. Ari  is lost, confused, hurt, frustrated and beyond angry. She is dealing with feelings of betrayal and broken trust towards the man she thought would always prote

Cover Reveal : Drive Me Wild by Melanie Harlow

Sometimes, love is just an accident waiting to happen. Drive Me Wild, an all-new sexy, opposites-attract romance about finding love when you least expect it by USA Today bestselling author Melanie Harlow is releasing August 24th, and we have the smoking hot cover! When Blair Beaufort literally crashes into Bellamy Creek wearing a ball gown and a tiara, I should have towed her car, said goodnight, and sent her packing. I’m a mechanic, not a hotel manager. I've got enough on my plate trying to keep my shop from going under, my overbearing mother off my back, and my baseball team in contention for the league championship. I don’t have time for a former debutante with zero street smarts and a cash flow problem, even if she is crazy beautiful. Problem is, she’s stranded in my small town, and I’m hiding a protective streak underneath my broody exterior that runs deep. So I offer her a place to stay and keep my hands to myself. For exactly one night. If only she were
