Getting there is the best part. ▪▪▪ This quote from this book is so true to how I felt reading this story as pretty much along the way I could tell exactly how this story was going to go and I loved every minute of it. It was so sweet, heart felt, adorkably funny, heart breaking at times, frustrating but so incredibly cute. I found myself smiling majority of the time and also shed a tear or two which I hardly ever do in books.  Paige's first boyfriend died in a horrible swimming accident and a year later she still finds people looking at her with pity in their eyes. 4/5 Stars 🌟 ▪▪▪ My head hated him.. Yet my heart loved him ▪▪▪ Oh this one hit me in all the feels. I laughed, I cried, I screamed and I swooned. I throughly enjoyed this book. I love small town romances and this was definitely a good one. The setting was beautiful. The drama was insane. The angst was gut wrenching and the ending was adorable. Even though Kallie and Jacob's story revolves around a miscommunication which is a storyline I normally dislike, I feel given there age when it happens and everything that happens after I actually enjoyed how it all played out even though many parts of the story broke my heart. I still found it a beautiful story and ended up loving both main characters so much. There was a soft cliffhanger towards the end of the story that leads us in to book 2 which is about and entirely different couple and I cant not wait to read their story  《book aesthetic made by me. I loved this story so much and I honestly have no idea what on earth is happening or who to even trust or what will happen in book 2 but I just know it'll be good. This story follows Reina who is such an interesting character. She is suffering from amnesia after a horrible attack and is trying to figure out what in her life feels right and what doesn't. She is torn with a battle in her mind of the girl she is now and the girl she is told she used to be. I loved everything about her character. She is sassy and doesn't put up with a lot. She pushes back everytime she gets the chance and doesn't allow all the crazy shit that is constantly thrown her way get her down.
