Release Blitz and Book Review : Make Me Yours by Melanie Harlow

Make Me Yours, an all-new laugh out loud rom com from USA Today bestselling author Melanie Harlow is available now! He’s my brother’s best friend. The hot single dad next door. And one accidental sext later, my massive crush on him is no longer a secret. It’s my own damn fault. I’m thirty years old, for heaven’s sake. I’m a kindergarten teacher and a (reasonably) responsible adult. I should know better than to get tipsy and draft a fake text listing all the dirty things I wish Officer Cole Mitchell would do to me. I wasn’t supposed to hit send. He wasn’t supposed to see it. And he definitely wasn’t supposed to text back telling me to go on . . . Because after that, things escalate quickly. Cole is everything I’ve ever wanted. He’s sexy and protective. A devoted father to his little girl. A dedicated cop the whole town adores. The kind of guy you can trust to keep his hands to himself, even when you’re desperately hoping he won’t. I...

Release Blitz and Book Review : Hard Love by Sara Ney

2.5 Stars 🌟 Hard Love  is book 3 in the Trophy Boyfriend's series but can be read as a standalone. This follows  Chandler and Tripp  and prior to reading this I was very much looking forward to this book because I have enjoyed the 2 previous books but sadly this one fell flat for me and the main reason was the hero Tripp. I think I set my hopes a little too high for this one as I absolutely loved his brother, Trace's book and thought that might be the case for this one but Tripp was extremely lack luster, slightly rude for no real good reason and honestly I didn't feel his connection or love for Chandler. Their first romantic interaction felt weird and odly staged and not at all natural. The saving grace for me was the snipets and scenes involving the Wallace family and my fav Trace 💕💕 The story was still enjoyable enough for me to finish but it was also nothing new and so far my least favourite in this series. I am still curious how the next book will go becaus...

Release Blitz and Book Review : Ruin by LA Cotton

3.5 Stars 🌟 Ruin  is part of an interconnected series and even though it can be read as a standalone I highly suggest reading the previous books as it helps build up Levi's character with this being his book. I was instantly drawn to Levi the minute he was introduced. The damaged rockstar with childhood issues, a history of substance abuse and self destructive behaviour am I alone in being drawn to this type of character because from the very beginning I was like sign me up - my boy Levi is mine, and even though I still love him I was also slightly underwhelmed by his book. The dynamic between  Levi and Pheobe  wasn't my favourite and slightly uncomfortable at times which is understandable with this kind of story. Levi relied on Pheobe too much as a crutch and she let him. I wanted more push back/tough love from her. She was a pretty strong and resilient character on her own but powerless against Levi. Any relationship involving an addict is gritty and emotionally draini...

Release Blitz and Book Review : I Promise You by Ilsa Madden Mills

4 Stars 🌟 I Promise You  is a new adult college sport romance with a hate to love aspect. It is a slow burn romance brimming with sexual tension and passion. It is book 4 that falls in the same world as Waylon University but can be read as a standalone. Serena  is a journalist currently interning at a newspaper and writing an advice coloumn when she is asked to follow and report on the university football team. She is heavily focused on study, work and her family and can't afford distractions including football players. She is still healing from a previous relationship but she is still sucha strong and empowered character. I truly loved her and the way she loved her family. Dillion  is the Quarterback in the university's football team. He is Mr. Popular but doesn't always necessarily enjoy all the attention that comes with that. He is level headed and focused on his future while also harbouring/rekindling feelings he has had for quite some time about the girl he met at t...

Blog Tour : Headlines by Ella Frank

Headlines, the epic and must read conclusion of the Prime Time Series from USA Today bestselling author Ella Frank is available now! Xander If I had to describe Sean Bailey, it would be as the sexy, caring, wonderful man I’ve gone and fallen in love with. I never could’ve imagined a world where he was my everything. But with each passing day, the connection between us grows stronger, and the idea of a world without him is something I can’t imagine. But Sean’s love doesn’t come without complications. As the older brother of my lifelong best friend, this new love has caused relationships to break down and communication to become stilted, and the one question that remains is: am I willing to give up the love and friendship of one for the chance of love and forever with another? Sean I didn’t mean to fall in love with Alexander Thorne, my brother’s ex and the number one prime-time news anchor in the country. I mean, no one could’ve seen that coming—least of all m...

Release Blitz and Book Review : The Right Player by Kandi Steiner

3.75 Stars 🌟 The Right Player  is a sweet, light, fluffy but super steamy sports romance between a professional NFL player and an interior designer. It was fairly low drama & low angst and an all round breezy read. Belle  is a warm, bubbly, funny, strong independent woman but she has been emotionally hurt in the past that leads her to seek purely physical & short lived relationships. She doesn't like to get emotionally attached to the guys she is interested in and is seemingly happy with her view on relationships. We first met Belle in The Wrong Game  and though it's not necessary to read that book prior to this one I still suggest it to those who like to read all interconnected books in order. Makoa  is the epitome of a cinnamon roll hero with a bit of an alpha streak. He is family oriented, emotionally aware, sensitive, kind, strong, caring, loving but also slightly misguided. He knows what he wants and isn't afraid to go after it. Having had his ow...
