  3.25 Stars🌟 Princess and the Player  is the 2nd book in the Strangers in Love series but can 100% be read as a standalone. This story follows  Francesca & Tuck,  their story starts out unconventional & it very quickly steams up. After a slight awkward interaction these two strangers have a hot and heavy night together and that's all it was every supposed to be. Their story has a bit of everything, one night stand turned casual fling turned reluctant realtionship filled with emotional baggage, a surprise/accidental pregnancy between an Aging NFL player and a tattoo artist. I really enjoy Illsa's story telling and writing style and tend to fly through her books. I loved Francesca from the get go and all the people that came along with her but I struggled to connect with Tuck.  4 Stars🌟 Boyfriend Material is the second book in the Hawthorne University Series but can be read as a standalone. It is a new adult - second chance - sports romance. This story is one that I was highly anticipating after reading book one a while ago and I'm so very pleased that is did not disappoint. Boyfriend Material was angsty, frustrating in the best way, addicting and surprisingly fast paced and exciting for a slow burn romance. I found there wasn't a moment throughout the story that felt dull or boring which was very nice. Eric was cold and standoff-ish at times and gicen he was dealing with trauma, stress and confusion this felt natural and real to the story. He was also chivalrous, sweet, dependable and an all round stand up guy. Definitely my type of hero.   3.75 Stars 🌟 Beauty and the Baller  is a standalone romance between an ex Athlete turned high school football coach & woman returning to her hometown. This has a slight second chance / reunited past one night stand turned fake dating aspect to it. Ronan & Nova   had a one night stand that ended awkwardly & have now found themselves thrown back together years later. This had a lot of sweet & heartfelt moments aswell as some angsty and heartbreaking ones. Even though the story deals with grief it stilk had a light and airy feel about it. I loved the small town southern charm atmosphere this book had with the many different side charcters that tend to go along with these kinds of settings. 3.75 Stars 🌟 One-Timer  is book 3 in the Carolina Comets series. It can be read as a standalone though I still highly reccomend reading the previous books to get the full experience of this fun group of characters. After an initial first awkward encounter,  Lowell & Hollis'  story turned into a one night stand and surprise pregnancy romance. Their story was some what of a sweet domestically bliss friends to lovers romance. I enjoyed watching these two get closer as they try to navigate preparing for a baby. As usual like with all of Teagan Hunter's books this was a super quick and easy read. It was fun, flirty with some nice steamy moments.   4.25 Stars 🌟 Blind Pass  is book 2 in the Carolina Comets series. It can be read as a standalone though the Main Characters do have appearances in the previous book. The story revolves around  Rhodes & Ryan  and is a grumpy/sunshine hockey romance with the marriage of convenience/accidental marriage trope at the center of it. Like all of Teagan's stories this was such a quick, easy and fun read. It was flirty, steamy, had a great cast of side characters and the usual charm and wit the author is known for. I loved Rhodes & Ryan together and even though I'm not the biggest fan of the accidental/convenience marriage I am a huge fan of the forced proximity trope which was another key factor in the book. I found myself smiling throughout the book multiple times and even though the story wasn't revolutionary it was an all round good time, these types of stories tend to be comfort reads for me and I can pretty much gobble them up and blind pass really hit the mar...

3 Stars 🌟 Last Round  is the 5th and final book in the Twisted Fox series but can still be read as a standalone. This was a friends to lovers, mutual pinning, slow burn, angsty and heartfelt story. Throughout the series we have met  Silas & Lola  and know very little of their back story but we do sense a lot of the mutual pinning and witness their friendly flirting & banter that seems to make up a lot of their dynamic. In Last Round we explore the beginning of their friendship and a fair amount of the story overlaps the previous books and their timelines so it often felt a little repetitive to me while we caught up the the events of the previous book. This kind of story telling isn't a personal favourite of mine especially in series I've been reading consecutively but it does make it perfect to read as a standalone. Another aspect of the story that didn't necessarily work for me was the fact that Lola didn't really seem to take Silas' feelings into consider...
