  4 Stars 🌟  It's so good to be back in the world of Poplar Falls. Fans of the series have been itching to get  Payne & Charlotte's  story from the beginning. Even though  Crazy Hearts  is part of a series it can still be read as a standalone but to really appreciate these two I still suggest reading the previous books set in this small town romance series. Payne and Charlotte started as a fun fling. They were slightly casual with a long distance element in their relationship. They were sweet, flirty, adorable with a lot of heart. We got a lot of the side characters we have grown to love and this story really felt like a love letter from the author to her readers. I say this after ever new poplar falls book but I seriously could never get sick of this town and I'm hoping Sonia gets her story soon as I'm craving it and can't wait to see what the author comes up with next. 《book aesthetic made by me.   4.25 Stars 🌟 Small town romances are my actual kryptonite and after seeing this gorgeous cover I just knew I had to read Frayed. I went into this book blind and ended up so pleasantly surprised. This book leaned a lot more YA than I was expecting but it cemented why I really do love YA as much as I do even though I'm way passed the age demographic. This small town romance was sweet, innocent, heartfelt, satisfyingly frustrating, swoony, a little angsty and so very addictive. I loved so many of the characters (while also despising some).  Adelaide & Jett  were everything I was in the mood for and more. Addie had quite a lot of growing she did throughout the story & I enjoyed her development. I loved the friend group dynamic of the Magic Willows and it was so refreshing to read about characters who had a youthful charm and strong friendship even while they were going through a lot personally while navigating decisions that would help shape their future.
